Exploding Meetup group?

Well, I suspect the odds of anyone still reading this are slim… but what the heck.

It seems from what I'm reading that the meetup group is somewhat disintigrating. Any further interest in setting up this place again or furthering it's development as a place to co-ordinate meetups, form groups and have discussions?

I'm still around, though I haven't checked the site or meetup group in a while. Still playing DnD regularly but haven't been spending any time on here since no one else seemed to be interested.

Sad to hear that the official meetup group is falling apart again. I really hoped that having a free local forum like this one without having to pay out regular subscription fees might have been good.

I'm leaving the site up since it costs me nothing and will be happy to maintain it properly if it becomes more popular. I guess I should check out the meetup page and see the explosion myself.

A lot of it seems to have started to sort itself out. There is the new meetup group for everything BUT offical RPGA (and leaning away from D&D) gaming. I've not seen anymore threads on the D&D board getting axed for voicing complaints…. I suspect the group admin had a word with the assistant that was doing it.
